Provenance Recognized is a project by The Sneaker Preservation Society to evoke nostalgia to connect (and reconnect) those who appreciate sneakers by presenting stories and selections of original examples from various private collector’s collections across print and digital media.
Our goal is to continue to grow the sneaker space with an inclusive space that brings enthusiasts, generalists, and the next generation together to propagate history, storytelling, and authenticity to provide inspiration to an ever evolving landscape. The thought is that sneakers are just the lowest common denominator that brings so many people together.
Sneakers speak all languages, embrace all races, religions, and genders, and are not constrained by any boundaries.
